Hi everyone! I’m Shannon and I’m 23 years old. I’ve spent my life growing up around all different types of animals: dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, and even a ferret or two. In that time, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing animals at every stage of their lives. In particular, I’ve cared for dogs while pregnant, and then after birth, loving both the dog and their litter of puppies. I’ve seen dogs through their chaotic teenage years, adult life and then into their senior years and final days. While their beautiful lives are unfortunately brief, it’s always an honour to be part of them, even for the shortest time. I am continuously grateful for the love, learning and experience I get from the time I spend with them, and as you can probably tell, my love for animals means I would love and treat your animals as my own. I started house sitting for friends and family when I was 16, and it’s progressed from there, caring for their pets, taking them on walks, bathing, feeding and generally loving them while their owners were away. I have experience with a variety of breeds and am more than happy to accommodate any quirks they may have, or any requests you may have for me. I also love taking photos of them and sending updates if you want them so feel free to ask me! :)
