Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was four years old; I can't imagine life without them! And I've cared for friends' cats for 20 years. I often say I like animals better than most people! LOL. Truly, you can tell so much about a person by watching how they treat animals. I will care for yours like I do my own: with kindness, enthusiasm, and love. I teach an after-school program for elementary school kids in the late afternoon; I would love to help you with your pets earlier in the day. :) I will happily walk your dog at his or her pace. If you have a puppy that needs a brisk walk? I'd love to help. If you have a senior dog who needs a leisurely stroll? I'll happily be patient. If you have a cat that just needs fresh water and some ear scratches? I've got that covered, too. I understand how precious animals are: they're not just pets, they are family members! I call my dogs my "adopted sons!" I promise to take wonderful care of your 'fun babies' too. <3

Shannon is a cheerful, sparkly presence who makes everyone around her feel good -- dogs AND people. She loves her own dogs so much, they are 100% part of her family, and she will bring that same love to your dogs as well. I know I trust her with my nervous little chi/pug mix. She brought him out of his shyness and found his special itchy-place right away. Little story about Shannon: When she first got her oldest dog, she and her now-husband were living in a tiny apartment with a loft bed, and they would carry him up into the bed even when he reached his full height and weight, which is considerable. Just so he wouldn't feel lonely on the ground. Whether you crate your dogs or carry them into your loft bed, Shannon will do exactly what you ask her to, and your dog will love her for it!
I've known Shannon for over 20 years and simply adore her. She took loving care of two of my dogs - Raggedy Ann, a cockapoo, and Angel, a pure cocker spaniel, for a number of years, and I know that she's a devoted mom to her own current dogs, Cash, a 14-year old rescue (lab/retriever/mix) and Byrne, an almost l year-old, also a rescue (I think he's also part lab). I live in Morristown, NJ, and really miss Shannon since she moved to PA. She's smart, reliable, compassionate, loving.
I give shannon the absolute highest recommendation possible! Shannon is extremely responsible, loving, animal lover/advocate and I would choose her to take care of my dog Sugar above anyone.
Shannon is my niece, the loving mother of two children, and the supportive owner of two dogs - one senior, one very young.
