Pet care experience
I am an animal lover with life long experience caring for cats & dogs, and some experience caring for turtles, chickens, ducks, and goats. My motivation is for your pets, and all animals in my presence to feel nurtured and cared for with loving attention because they deserve it. I've been told I'm a patient, communicative, intuitive, and responsibly playful carer of pets by pet owners I've worked with. I have experience with pets that need some extra care such as giving meds, need subcutaneous fluids, have special diets, or need more attention/comfort if prone to anxiety. I am just starting out with Rover but my most recent pet sitting experiences outside of this site included being entrusted to care for 2 homesteads with dogs, cats, chickens, and gardens, as well as 2 family's large and small dogs while they traveled. Shannon did a wonderful job our dog and cat. She was flexible with changes (like when his ear infection flared up). She checked in to clarify any questions she had about either of the animals. I would definitely recommend Shannon.
This was our second time booking Shannon but first time having a housesitter stay at our house while we were on vacation. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that all our animals were being taken care of and Shannon had great communication and sent us updates throughout her stay. Thanks again Shannon!
Shannon house sit our pets and she was excellent from start to finish. Totally would trust her again to handle our 4 pets’ care. Was a perfect fit with our home and needs. Highly recommend her!
Shannon did a wonderful job taking care of our house, but most importantly taking excellent care of bridge! Bridge got walked regularly (2X's a day), and I could tell she gave him lots of love. When we got home, I could tell the two of them had bonded! Thanks for the great correspondence with me while we were gone and giving me pictures too. I would love to have Shannon back when we leave town again. And I know Bridge would also! Thanx so much Shannon!
