Hi there! I’m Shannon, fluent in English and ASL. I’ve been around animals my entire life. A German Shepherd, bear, a lab, honey, a mutt, Rosie, and a cat named Amanda. All of them rescue animals so I have experience with animals that are sensitive, temperamental, and overall needing more attention. I live in an apartment and I’m waiting to move into a house before adopting an animal of my own. I miss having dogs around and found that using rover is the best way to get my doggy fix while also helping out an owner who just wants to make sure their baby is in the right hands. We live in an apartment with thin walls, if your baby is prone to frequent barking we may not be their best fit, I apologize for any inconvenience. I had Shannon come for drop-in visits for my kitty, over 5 days. This was the first time I was away from my kitty, so I wanted to make sure she wasn't left alone. Shannon dropped by exactly as requested, feeding my kitty, and spending time with her so she knew she wasn't alone. Shannon is a great communicator, sent me pics of my kitty, and made sure to keep me updated on how things were going. I felt very comfortable leaving my kitty in Shannon's hands!

Shannon took great care of our german shepherd Marty over a long weekend. She was easy to communicate with, flexible with her schedule and understanding of our dog's particular needs. Highly recommend and would def hire her again. :)

I’d like to know the basics: feeding specifications. When and how much. What routine the dog is used to: walkings- frequency, etc. Additionally, if your dog has triggers, what are they? Can they be prevented? What can I do to make your animal feel most comfortable?
A typical day
There’s a lovely walking path right by my apartment frequented by other dog owners and families. From start to finish it’s about a 45 minute walk. I’m also within walking distance from a park that can allow for other activities like fetch. This makes physical activity very accessible for the animals I watch to make sure their stay is a great one!
