Welcome to my profile, my name is Shannon, I am a 28 year old female living in Halifax, currently specifically in the Waverley/Fall River area. I have always been an big animal lover, as has my family. We have always had at least one animal in the house whether it was dogs, cats, rodents of different sorts, fish, reptiles, etc. I have been looking after animals independently for 10+ years now. Although not professionally, I have looked after numerous friends/families pets all the way from dogs and cats (including puppies and kittens) to rats, snakes and chameleons. At work I care for people, and at home I care for my fur babies and friends/families fur babies as well. I have a passion for looking after others whether human being or animal, it truly does make me happy! I do work a part-time job but I have a very good/flexible schedule. I have one dog whom is an American Pitbull named Domme. He loves company of other dogs/animals and one of his best friends includes a little yorkie that he loves playing with. We also love to be outdoors and explore familiar and new places, but are just as happy cuddling up at home to watch a movie, we have cuddle/movie dates all the time! I am a very giving and caring person, and being a pet owner myself and someone who does like to travel now and then, I know the difficulties and frustrations of finding someone you can trust and feel comfortable leaving your loved ones with while you are away or just need the extra help. I would love to be that help for anyone needing it! I promise to provide a comfortable, safe environment to care for your fur baby/babies so that, that may be one less stressful thing to worry about in preparation for your travels or sitting needs. I know for myself this is one of the biggest stresses when it comes to travelling, so I do understand the importance of leaving them with someone you feel you can trust and will feel good during your trip or for whichever reason you need help, knowing they are in good hands until you can come home to them. I also would like to mention that I would be, with permission of mom and dad, taking lots of pictures and videos while your loved one(s) stayed with me. I would also provide daily updates or as frequently as is desired. If there are any other requests that are not noted here or any special requests just let me know! I am working part time and have this job as a second source of income. Animals have always been in my life so it comes naturally to incorporate animals into my daily routine and would feel weird if I was not looking after an animal or had one around. I have a big open backyard area to run around. No front yard. Bungalow style, 2 story home with carpets in most rooms and a large deck.
