I am a Veterinary Technician that is currently staying home to raise my children. I have personally owned or cared for almost any pet you can have. I love my dogs immensely and will share that love with any for which I am responsible. My pups are well socialized with other animals and so are my kids! I am experienced with a multitude of medical conditions and can happily care for your medically demanding pup at my home or yours. I also love cats, but hubby is allergic, so any cat care must be done in your own home. We currently have our 3 dogs in the home, but I have experience with many other pets as well.

This was our 2nd time using Shannon and she was amazing! Journey loved her stay and we will definitely continue to use her to watch over our sweet girl. She sends twice daily updates, along with photos and videos. We couldn’t pick a better person to take care of our Journey!
Shannon is absolutely amazing! I was so nervous about leaving our pup with someone for the first time, but she made me feel very at ease! She gave me evening and morning updates with photos, which I appreciated so much! We will for sure be using Shannon again!

I have a fully fenced in yard with a 6-foot privacy fence. Additionally, I have a dog door so that trusted pups can access the yard at any time. My home features enough space that if your pup needs its own area, I can accommodate that as well. My pets are family, and as such, are allowed on our furniture and beds if they like. If this is something your pet enjoys also, they will get all the cuddles they desire. I do ask that your dogs be current on flea/tick prevention in order to come into my home. Proof of current rabies vaccination and distemper/parvo vaccination is also required.

Any special needs or medical conditions need to be discussed in advance. As stated above, current vaccinations and flea/tick prevention is required for dogs entering my home. Additionally, a meet and greet prior to a stay is essential to ensure that your pup will merge well into my household.
A typical day
A dog's typical day at my house will feel just like home. We will snuggle on the couch, play in the backyard and keep feedings on your schedule.

Availability
I am home every day so will be able to provide around the clock care for any pet in my home. Additionally, I have reliable transportation and would be more than happy to travel to your home and care for your animals in their own environment. I wake early and stay up late so can accommodate almost any schedule that is needed.
