Pet care experience
We’ve had a rescue dog for over a year and a half now. We have also both volunteered at Big Dog Ranch. Prior to this, I have had a dog for years now. We love dogs!

Shannon and Jason were great with Baxter! Not only were they flexible with the schedule, they have a pup, Pax, that accompanied Baxter during his stay. Bax made a new friend with Pax! S&J provide pictures and videos on a daily basis and are quick to respond to any messages. Laid back cool family!
My dog is typically a raving lunatic when I am gone. He pouts, he cries and howls and is overall scared and will hide the whole time I am gone. For this reason I typically have to give him medication to keep him calm and relaxed while he is being taken care of by someone else. I had to go out of town on an emergency trip and my typical gal couldnt watch Bruce so I reached out on Rover and I found Shannon and Jason. We met first and my dog seemed to be more interested in them than scared. Even sitting on Shannon's lap when she sat on the ground. When I took Bruce back to their place to drop him off for the week, he ran up to her like I didnt even exist. Bruce was taken care of so well, Shannon and/or Jason texted me each day to let me know what they were all up to - with the occasional picture. I highly recommend this fabulous couple and Bruce will never be watched by anyone else....

A typical day
We have a long trail around our community, we can take the dogs around the trail and play with them outside! We have toys at the house too. We also love to take our dog to the local dog park!
