Shannon (& Jim) are the best pet sitters EVER. Please don’t use them, I won’t leave my pet anywhere else and I want them all to myself. They really love my dog Sting Ray and treat him like he is part of their family. Sting Ray gets lots of love, attention, and exercise in a quiet, home environment. He loves Shannon and Jim. My number 1 concern was that I wanted someone who would actually be there with my pet. I’ve contacted other sitters who said they would put my dog in their private cage or home – and then go to work. No, I can leave my dog in my own home by himself. I want someone who will bet there. Shannon is a dream come true. I left Sting Ray in a local boarding facilities once (it’s VERY loud and the animals are locked in a cage. Why would you do that to your pet when you could leave your loved one in a home environment?) and we had to drive back and pick Sting Ray up because he was throwing up. I left my former dog (Tinkerbelle) in a highly rated pet boarding facility in Seattle, and my dog died three days after I picked her up. She was skin and bones, she died of a broken heart (and starvation/puking), they didn’t let me know anything was wrong. Never, ever again. My pet is my heart, and I'm not trusting that to just anyone.

Shannon and Jim were great dog sitters - and they have a great dog sitter location in the remote countryside. They both clearly love dogs and we were very comfortable leaving our dog with them.
