Pet care experience
I currently am studying environmental science and am taking a veterinary assistant certification course. Growing up I had dogs, cats, birds, chickens, snakes, and many more animals. I have worked with horses and more farm animals. I love being around animals and helping care for them.

Fantastic job as always. Showed up on time. Stayed the 30 minutes and took great care of our cat.
Shannon was super flexible with us, considering a severe weather and circumstances that got in the way. Can’t wait to have her sit our pup soon!
While Shannon did take care of my cats in making sure they were fed and the litter boxes cleaned, I found her actions rather unprofessional. On two separate days she failed to notify me that she would be delayed in arriving for the cat care, leaving me worried that I might have to return early to care for my cats. Delays are natural and happen but the lack of notification is unacceptable. In addition, when I arrived home I found a number of bags of cat litter simply sitting outside my back door and not thrown away. So while I am thankful for the help she provided I would not hire Shannon again unfortunately.
Shannon was great - she was able to bond with my very shy cat! She always sent pictures and updates as well.

I currently have two cats, a ball python, and two fish tanks. I have experience working with different animals of all sizes and temperaments. I offer house sitting and drop ins and am able to work with you on things you want done. (Such as training work, medication, brushing, etc.)

A typical day
On walks I am happy to take your dog to dog parks, or run/ walk with them. I enjoy an active fast paste jog or a slow and relaxed walk. If you have any toys for your dog I’d be happy to bring those along. I have experience in dog handling of larger more reactive dogs.
