Hi, my name is Shannon and I am happy to be a dog walker and pet sitter serving Monmouth County! I love ALL animals and have a passion for animal welfare. Let me tell you a little about my experience with pets. I've had pets since I was born - every kind from a goldfish to a 100 pound dog. I’ve had dogs my entire life and also previously worked at a dog walking company, so I have years of experience walking, training, feeding, playing, etc. with dogs of all breeds and ages. I hope you'll choose me to care for your furry friends! I promise to take the best care of your pet and treat he or she like they are my own.

We had Shannon look after our dog (a 4 year old German Shepherd) and 2 cats while we were away last year. We needed someone to come during the day during that time as my inlaws could only be there at nighttime. We are VERY VERY fond of our animals and as a result haven't actually vacationed together since we got our dog 4½ years ago. We struck gold when we found Shannon. She followed my 'lengthly' instructions to a T and walked our dog three times a day and fed him and the cats as needed. She also spent time with them so they wouldn't be lonely during the day. Lastly she sent me updates and photographs daily and left a note for us upon our return as to how it all went. She was so good I don't think our pets even noticed we were gone ! I have no hesitation in recommending her. Top Class !
Shannon cared for my dog a few weeks ago while I was on vacation and I couldn’t have been more pleased. My dog is very shy around new people, but Shannon’s calm and loving demeanor made it easy for my dog to warm up to her quickly. Aside from being great with my dog, she also was very thorough and wrote down feeding times, walk times, and medication times during every visit. She also was great about texting me and sending photos to assure me my dog was doing well. I’ll definitely be using Shannon again through Rover!

A typical day
Stimulating a dogs mind is crucial so I love to play fetch, a tug game, or utilize any favorite available toys or games that your pup may love. Going on long walks and enforcing good behavior on these walks is a must. I love taking dogs on hiking trails or to the beach.
