RN seeking to care for your furbaby
Pet care experience
I'm a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse 3 days a week and I adore dogs; therefore looking to pet sit on my days off or after work. I grew up with a husky and collie for 16 years and have always loved pets. I currently house/pet sit for friends/family. I invest my days off making sure their loved furbabies handle the stress of their parents being away from home. I love how dog friendly many areas I live near are and with discussion would take your pet as my own to restaurants, the beach, etc. I have experience giving medicines and shots to dogs. I've been around well behaved dogs and the over excited jumpers alike. Every dog has their own personality! I would love to meet you and your pup and discuss how I can make your time away pleasant for you and your smaller (or larger) companion. I'm starting this to raise funds for my volunteer nursing on the Mercy ship this fall.

Shannon is a god-send! Our dog has special medical issues that make it impossible to stay at shelters. It also makes taking care of her a little more challenging than the average dog. None of that phased Shannon. I know our dog had a great time with Shannon because the pup was smiling in every one of the many photos she sent. We would unhesitatingly welcome Shannon back into our home in the future and I am sure our dog would love it too!
Shannon has watched our dog Bailey many times and the amount of care she puts into everything she does makes it reassuring while we are away. She is very honest, trustworthy and genuine about her affection for animals. Would highly recommend her for any job!

No breed preference, no breed restrictions other than no aggressive breeds (you know how your pet reacts around strangers, be honest, as I will be too). Let me know if your dog can be aggressive around other dogs or with medication administration. Just like taking care of babies, you tell me what and how your dog likes interaction.
A typical day
There is a walking trail near my apartment as well as my apartment is very dog friendly. With permission, I can take your dog to my favorite jogging area honeymoon island causeway.
