Shannon Gregg "LOVES FOUR LEGGED" ANYTHING! She loves horses, alpacas, cows, dogs, cats, even goats. She got to help a mama goat deliver her two babies ..while the owners were out of town. Another neighbor had stepped in but there were problems ..Shannon got first hand experience pulling on their little legs, etc. Shannon was and still is an athlete ..and found offering puppy and cat sitting worked with her schedules and the pet owners. One owner traveled for weeks to Holland and Europe ..always relied on Shannon. Same with another family who traveled on long cruises and military trips, or month long beach trips. Shannon worked with some of the dogs that had behavior issues. She even got trusted to watch a large German shepherd that the owner was very skeptical of "everybody" but got to know Shannon's sweet nature and allowed her to visit to see how Shannon would do with her strong over zealous best friend. Shannon is very tall with an athletes body and showed she could be kind and firm and lovable which went over quite well with the puppies Mom. The woman was German and fell in love with Shannon. (Her neighbors were scared of her and her vicious dog). Shannon knew better! We have always had dogs, cats, etc. When we lived in the mountains she actually had raccoon eating out of her hands. Birds nested above our front door every year. Bear were so comfortable with our house ..they came for a visit a few times a week..we just watched in appreciation that we were that lucky. Shannon is a very special young lady with a heart for the outdoors and animals. She is dependable and caring and would be a wonderful asset to your program, and I know she would appreciate your confidence in her.
