Hey! My name is Shannon- welcome to my profile. I’m a senior at NC State University studying Textile Engineering, and some of my favorite hobbies are playing pickleball, disc golf, and (re)learning the piano! I’ve cared for my friends’ and families’ dogs for 6 years. Walking, feeding, playing, petting- I enjoy it all! I decided to start my Rover account to mix two of my favorite things: walking and dogs. I’d love to spend time with your pup!

Shannon is amazing! Very communicative and flexible. She provided photos and a map of her walks with our pups. I've attempted to book a couple other times, but our plans changed and she was very understanding. We have last minute plans this weekend, and I am booking her now!

I’ve loved every dog I’ve ever been around, yours will be no different! My camera roll is also filled with lots of photos of friends’ and families’ dogs- so if you book with me you can expect to recieve photos and descriptions throughout my time with your pup.

A typical day
Even without a dog of my own, I love going on walks around neighborhoods, in parks, and in the city. Lake Johnson, Dorthea Dix, NC State’s Centennial Campus, and neighborhoods are some of my favorite walking destinations. Not booking me for a walk? I’ll be sure to play with your pup using any toys you have and give them scratches in their favorite spots.

As a college student, I have the flexibility to care for your pet throughout the week! I’m an early riser, so mornings aren’t a problem for me.
