Hi everyone! I am a mom of two children. My son, Sebastian, is 16. And my daughter, Evelyn, is 15. We all love animals and enjoy having new ones in our home to play with, enjoy, and love. We have one of our own. Pesto is a rescue and is around 14. He is a terrier chihuahua mix. Pesto is one of the little guys who thinks he is big and wouldn’t hurt a fly, but will act tough. He is getting pretty old and has health issues, so at this point I can’t have him around puppies or bigger dogs anymore. During Covid, he was attacked by a big dog, so am careful with certain dogs he is around now. We have watched other dogs in our home for many years and always love to meet new fur babies. I generally prefer to meet somewhere neutral, like a dog park, before watching a new dog just so they can meet.

Shannon took excellent care of my dog! I was provided with pictures and updates throughout the stay, and she was very accommodating with my uncertain schedule. Henry had lots of snuggle time when not tearing around her house with a squeaky toy. We'll definitely book with Shannon again!

I treat every animal in my home like I would want my Pesto to be treated if I left him in the care of another person. They are part of the family and will get lots of love and attention. I love being outdoors as well and have a park right around the corner to my house.

I’m more particular about dogs I can have in my home now because of the health of my dog. The care of any dog I have in my home will be very important to me and I want to have a safe environment for them as well as my fur baby. Special needs and medication are something I can do since I already do several times a day for Pesto.
A typical day
I love being outdoors and getting exercise. The park and walking trails are one of my favorite places to be. My Pesto can’t walk like he used to, but I bring a stroller for him on walks to get him outside in the sun. We also frequent downtown Woodstock since it’s very dog friendly.

I work full time at a hair salon and both of my children are at school during the day. I am off every Sunday and Wednesday and work every other Saturday.
