Pet care experience
From home care pet-sitting to daily check-in/walks, I have been taking care of dogs for over 15 years and I would be thrilled to help watch over yours! My family has two golden retrievers and growing up with them was a blast! I am incredibly active, I value relaxing, and I always appreciate a good treat - it’s no surprise I get along with four legged friends! No matter the ‘vibes’, I alway adapt to whatever each pup needs; as they are not all the same. You’re pup is a member of the family, and no one should ever have worry if they are getting proper care and attention that they need.

Shannon is fantastic! I travel a lot for work and she has been very reliable. All 4 of my dogs love her and I know they are in great hands when they are in her care. I recently had a last minute trip come up. Thanks to Shannon, I was able to keep them comfortable and calm at home rather than using a kennel service. Not only is she attentive and caring, she is also detail oriented. I would trust her over anyone else with my dogs!

I care for each clients pets with compassion and love! Dogs are intuitive and incredibly smart. When you visit a dog for the first time, they are in the process of adapting to change as well.There needs to be empathy and understanding of that. I also always have an initial conversation with the owners outlining their safety protocols and understanding their expectations. Following the routine, schedule, and rules, the dog is already use to makes it a more comfortable situation for them. It also help keeps them on track and at ease.

I prefer scheduling an initial meet and greet with the owners before caring for anyone’s pets! However it’s essential to know food, water, and bathroom routine. Along with any medications. It’s also important to note what the expected activity levels are.
A typical day
There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach. Each day looks different and it’s solely dependent on what the dogs and owners needs are! However, we can walk, run, play catch, provide lots of pets, the list goes on and on!

I work full-time; however, my schedule is adaptable. I love have my evenings and weekends open to care for furry friend! Thursday - Sunday visits are ideal, however evening week day appointments can be discussed. I’m more than willing to help adjust my schedule upon my clients needs!
