Pet care experience
Born and raised in Upton, I have always had dogs, and love them more than my heart can contain! I have a reactive dog and a disabled dog of my own, and am an experienced rescue volunteer - I know how to work with dogs of all kinds of temperaments. It is important for me to take the time to build trust with your pet so that we can have an equally comfortable experience and relationship. Reactive, anxious, and fearful dogs have a special place in my heart as my dog Luna is one of them. Let me know how I can make a house-sit, drop-in or walk easier for your furry pal. It is very important to me that both you and your pet are comfortable with me before we move forward with the booking, so I always prefer an in-person meet & greet if possible. I am cat/dog CPR & First Aid trained by Paws N Claws 911. **I also have experience and am comfortable with feline, small animal, and freshwater aquariums** IMPORTANT NOTE: Summer is an extremely popular time for housesitting. I receive a lot of requests for housesitting services. Please note that your dates are not confirmed and on my calendar until you have Officially booked and paid through the app. Unfortunately, I cannot hold dates. Thank you for understanding!

Shannon takes such wonderful care of our senior dog. It is clear that she spends quality time with her, as Dixie just adores her! Shannon also takes the BEST photos of her while we're away!
The absolute best. Was nervous about leaving my hyper boy with someone new while I went away for the night, but when she says she’s good with big dogs she means it. I will only be using her to watch my big ham from now on! She’s so good with him and sent tons of pictures to show me my boy was on his best behavior while I was not there
Shannon took great care of our pup overnight at our house, and sent tons of pics and updates. Highly recommend!

Due to my rescue background, I am skilled in reading animal body language and am prepared to respond quickly to your pets in the event of a stressful or fearful event for them. On walks, I am always mindful and cautious around stranger dogs and humans, and find it best and safest for everyone involved to keep our distance! **Your dog will never meet another dog in my care without your express permission.**

Depending on your dogs’ comfort and needs, I will be sure to find areas that suit what they need and enjoy in a walk or play experience - please let me know their favorite ways to exercise and play, and if they have any favorite areas to walk or hike.

Availability
I am typically available all weekend, and early weekday mornings and evenings for pet care! I am flexible and will always arrive on time for you! Please NOTE: the app has pre-set availability windows, please see my current (Spring 2024) availability below: Availability: Saturday: All Day Sunday: All Day until 1:30pm Monday: 5:30am-6:30am; 6:15pm-10pm Tuesday: 5:30am-7:30am; 6:15pm-10pm Wednesday: 5:30am-7:30am; 6:15pm-10pm Thursday: 5:30am-7:30am. 6:15pm-10pm Friday: 5:30am-6:30am; 6:15pm-10pm Please note I do work in an office during the day. My boss is flexible in the event of an emergency however I do have a set schedule 9-5.
