Pet care experience
We work in wildlife conservation and manage a small farm. We love animals and enjoying making them happy and caring for them like family. We love meeting new pets and treating them to playtime, hikes, swimming and other adventures. We have 2 very friendly and playful dogs of our own and if everyone gets along they can all run around together. My husband and I have experience in wildlife rehab, and have fostered and rescued many cats, dogs and farm animals over the years. We know how to keep healthy happy animals and will provide the top care for your family members. We hate leaving our pets behind when we travel, so we know how stressful it can be. We’re happy to help ease your worry and make sure your pets are cared for like family. We’ll send updates and pictures daily (or more frequent if you prefer!). We use the money we make from pet sitting to help pay for the orphaned kittens we foster. Booking with us helps your pets and others in need!

Shannon is hands down the only person I trust with my animals. Not only is she great with dogs and cats but she’s wonderful with horses and even “dodo” birds (guineas). She loves and takes care of my animals like they’re her own. You can’t go wrong with trusting your babies with her.

Shannon is one of the only people on the planet that I would trust my precious babies with when I need a sitter. I have known Shannon personally for many years, so being able to see the way she cares for her own dogs proves to me that she will do the very best any furry animal that needs to be cared for. Shannon has a background in Biology and this gives her the knowledge that some pet sitters might not have. Shannon has dealt with special situations and circumstances, medicated animals that needed it (including helping me medicate mine) and will go above and beyond to adhere to special requests. I would recommend Shannon to anyone who needs a safe, trustworthy sitter for their dogs.

We can walk from our home to a quiet cove on Laurel lake and access miles of trails in Daniel Boone national forest. We have a large fenced in yard with lots of shareable dog toys. When we’re all tired from playing, dogs can come inside and cool off.
