Pet care experience
I've always considered myself a huge animal lover! Growing up, my house always had dogs and cats and I've always felt a strong connection to all furry friends. I've had many experiences with dog walking and sitting as well as cat care throughout my life. My friends and family can count on me to take the best care of their animal and make sure they come home happy. I've always been reliable and loving towards all animals and their needs. I have helped my family raise puppies and kittens and have successfully adopted and raised adult dogs and cats as well. I believe that animals should be given the best life possible: with lots of love, trust, and fun!

We had a great experience with Shannon! Her location was very convenient for us, and our dog had a lot of fun with her dog Tucker. Shannon kept in touch with photos of walks and naps, and messages of how Ollie was doing, and Ollie was happy and joyfully worn out when we picked him up. I highly recommend Shannon!
Fantastic experience in beautiful location. Shannon is super friendly and accommodating. She sent multiple photo updates and our dog seemed super happy and relaxed. Best part was our Lucie had a great dog friend to hang out and play with.
shannon was a great sitter for my dog! she is very friendly and kept me updated by sending me pictures and what my dog was doing. i would highly recommend shannon to anyone as i trust her with my dog already.

I have had plenty of experiences handling both single and multiple dogs on lead. I would consider myself a confident dog handler that enjoys getting outside and exploring the neighborhoods and local hiking trails safely with my dogs. I always keep my dogs on lead when on walks in the city, neighborhoods and on the trails to make sure they are safe and secure while walking. My house has a large backyard that is fully fenced and offers lots of space to play for the pups! I can also do drop in visits if you have a cat or dog at home that needs to be fed, played with, or just checked on while you are busy.

A typical day
I love to use our daily walks as a fun way for the dogs to get physical and mental stimulation. I like to walk around the Anholm District in SLO or do one of our many incredible hikes! My favorites are the Lemon Loop on Madonna, Johnson Ranch Loop and Felsman Loop on Bishop's Peak. I would also be happy to take your dog to any of our local dog parks to let the dogs run around freely (my favorites are Del Monte in Morro Bay or El Chorro Regional Park).

Availability
I am going back to school and will have a flexible class schedule over the next year. I am able to host another dog at my house for boarding/daycare or can drop in to feed, play, and check on a cat at your home if you are busy or out of town. When I host another dog in my own home, I love for them to be a part of our daily routine. I own a rescue mix named Tucker, who I walk twice daily. We would love for your pup to join us! Each walk is usually 30 minutes up to an hour depending on what route we take. When we are at the house, Tucker enjoys sunning himself in the backyard or being at my feet when I'm working at my desk. When another dog is at our house, the two of them can play, nap, and hang together while I supervise.
