Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Shannon. I work from home and take care of my 11 year old, very timid Shishon dog, Knuks. I have personal experience taking care of his anxiety (especially separation anxiety). I also have many years of experience taking care of and being trusted with bigger dogs (60 lbs) and high energy dogs for family and friends. I come from a family with lots of dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I've yet to meet one that I haven't gotten along with! I am very respectful of other people’s homes. I get along great with cats and other animals as well. I'd be happy to look after your plants while you're away as well! I hope that helps you get to know a bit more about me. Shannon provides a super fun time for my dog and knows exactly what she’s doing with her. Stormy loves to play with her and gets so excited whenever she sees her - also shares great photos. Shannon has been flexible around my work schedule and goes above and beyond to make sure that Stormy is taken care of when I'm away. She is really kind and just a person who is a pleasure to interact with. Best dog-walker/carer I ever had - I highly recommend her!

During walks I keep dogs leashed at all time. I'm happy to go to parks with them if you know that they are ok with that. All around I want their time away from you to be as comfortable for them as possible.

Please let me know a little bit about what your dog needs, what they do like, and what they don't like. In particular a few question I like to ask owners are: • Is your dog every ok to be off leash, if we are in an area where that is allowed (i.e. a dog park, or a hiking path)? • Does your dog get along with other dogs. If not are there specific breeds or sizes of dogs to keep clear of? • Does your dog have a favorite toy that they always need around?
A typical day
We know our dogs are all unique and special and so are the activities they like to do. I am open to doing what your dog enjoys most. Typically that involves long walks and hikes or going to a fenced in area where your dog can run and play.
