If you're going out of town, or just need someone to look after your pet while away for a few hours, I'm your sitter! I have many references if needed and I also work with special needs dogs. I've worked in training, health, grooming and of course, pet sitting! You can enjoy your vacation knowing your pets are in great hands. Animal background: I have worked with dogs & exotic animals my entire life and got my BA degree in Animal Behavior Health & Wellness. My background is full of work within the animal industry, whether it be grooming, training, pet-sitting, or health care, I've done quite a bit! Meet my pets: I have three small dogs that would love to meet your friendly furry ones! About my yard: My backyard is perfect for dogs of all sizes to roam around. It's completely fenced in with a covered patio.

It's not easy to leave our precious furry family members with someone else, is it? My Bailey has some special needs and I didn't know if a pet sitter would be willing to take him on and give him the care he needed. Well, my concerns were set aside when I found Shannon. She was positive and accommodating from the first time I contacted her. She has welcomed Bailey into her home and goes out of her way to see to his needs. She is honest and trustworthy, responsible and reliable, thoughtful and attentive, and so sweet and caring. She is always cheerful and helpful, and knows how to make a situation work to meet everyone's needs. She truly loves caring for animals and I'm so grateful that I found her and she was willing to take care of Bailey. Bailey knows where we're going when I turn a certain corner and he starts to get excited because he knows he'll be spending time with Shannon and her dogs, and maybe meet some new friends. And I relax when I leave him with her because I know she will care for him just as I would. You can't ask for more than that!
Shannon was fantastic with our little tank Shorty! She has a huge fenced in yard where he roamed, smelled, and sun bathed all weekend. She took awesome photos of him and sent them to me with updates on how he was doing which is always a plus. She was really great and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again!
Shannon is the coolest human in the "dogverse"! She not only let us sleep with her but we got our teeth cleaned without drugs .Our only regret is that she lives up in Grants Pass and we live here in Oakland ;-( Our humans,AL & Molly feel the same way...Shannon rocks.- Oscar & Felix
If I ever have questions or concerns about dogs or pets in general, I go to Shannon. I have never seen someone love and care for all dogs as well as her own like she does. She is very attentive, kind, sweet, and loving; I have never seen a dog feel scared or intimidated by Shannon's presence and I'm confident that I never will. She keeps her dogs well-trained, well-fed, and well-loved and will do the same for your loved ones. :)

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks The walks will be around my neighborhood, on the sidewalk with lots of grass and trees. I also make special trips to the park if you'd prefer that instead. If your dog is a runner, so am I! I'll take them on runs if instructed to. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In my room, sometimes even in my bed, wherever your dog feels most comfortable is where he/she will be able to sleep (if at my location). Time I'll spend with your dog Most of the day will be spent hanging out with your dog(s). I may have to step out to run a quick errand, but for the most part, it's play time!! Time I'll spend with your dog As much as possible! I'm home for a good chunk of the day (6+ hours), which means fun playtime for the fur-babies!
