I am an energetic out door loving 30 year old and married to the an even bigger animal lover. We live in a nice, safe, quiet row home with 1300 Sq. Ft. and have yard that is fenced with 6ft in height. I am a full time lab assistant with 11 years experience at a hospital in the area. Also a part time nursing student at a local college. I grew up having both cats and dogs (Large dogs, but love them all). Currently have a dog who has achieved his Canine Good Citizen certificate through extensive training and two cats (all up to date on all vaccinations and are on flee prevention) and very friendly. What will set me apart from other sitters is my medical experience, my knowledge of my own pets with medications (inhalers, pills, liquids, ear infections, grooming, topicals), behaviors patterns, training, food limitations and proper exercise . Also, I am very driven for my own pets safety, health, entertainment and satisfaction that I wouldn't deliverer no less for anyone else's pet that is under my care and supervision. We will consider long stays for your dog boarding/ sitting. We love to travel ourselves and understand that not everyone has that person friend/ family member to care for their dog when gone for 2+ weeks at a time and would love to be that person who you trust to care for your beloved dog over a longer period of time with no worries and lots of photos and videos sent to you to give you reassurance that your fur baby is well taken care of and loved while you enjoy your trip.

Shannon took exceptional care of our puppy for 2 weeks that included lots of love, affection, activities and updates while we were away. She also went above and beyond to help arrange a visit to the Vet when she suspected a UTI, which it was, and helped treat her until our return. It was nice to know our family member was in good hands so we could relax while we were away and not worry while we were gone. Highly recommended and would use again!
Shannon is amazing! She’s really knowledgeable and good with doggies. She was able to give me tips to help with my pup. I had no worries leaving my dog with her for the weekend. We got lots of updates and communication from her the whole time. I’d definitely reach out to her again, especially since it seems like my dog and her dog Nox are besties now!
I would recommend Shannon as a responsible and loving dog caregiver because she is very knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of dogs. She owns a big dog herself, who is full of energy, which means he is not easy to take care of, but she manages to do it alongside her husband, but I am sure she can handle taking care of any dog on her own. She is very caring when it comes to pets, in that she thinks one step ahead to make sure things do not go wrong. And lastly, she enjoys the company of pets and loves playing with them.
Shannon is great with pets. She’ll take care of your dog like it’s her own. You’ll never have any issues when dealing with her. Your dog will be in good hands.

A typical day
Walks to our quiet park down the street from our house, trips to the local dog parks, on weekends trips to our favorite dog places to bring our pup such as Freedom Dog park in NJ and beach trips to the North end of Brigantine, NJ (Trips are only giving with allowance from fur parent's preferences as do baths are sometime needed after trips and will be provided with care with allowance and products/ tools provided by fur parents), and whatever play your dog loves the most. Safety is always first on all trips with things like our seat belting system for car rides for your dog and also life vest for any water play. On all days your dog will be able to enjoy our yard for potty breaks whenever needed and at least three 30min. walks per day unless your dog prefers/needs less exercise. During long stays please keep in mind that I do work a Monday-Friday 9-5pm job and during this time that I am not home a MUST HAVE requirement is that your dog needs to be crated while I am at work and that mid day I will have our dog walker come by and relieve your pup with a potty break in our yard, give play time in the house and only with your permission give your pup a walk . Only on very rare occasions will I feel this is not necessary, but it is to ensure safety for your pup while unattended.
