Pet care experience
Animals are one of the things that make me happiest, and I'd be honored to keep care of your dog or cat! I am new to Rover, but have been dogsitting and keeping care of animals for most all my life. I've taken care of a number of pets since I was about 12 years old. My family had a dog throughout my childhood, as well as a number of neighborhood dogs that we would walk during the week. After my childhood dog passed on, we had a rotation of about 10 community dogs that would stay with us while their owners were on holiday. More recently, I have been dogsitting for friends in London. I'm comfortable and experienced with a wide range of breeds, activity levels, and ages. Friends would describe me as conscientious, thoughtful, and responsible, and I recognize how important animals are to their owners. I'd absolutely treat your dog or cat as if it was my own. I take a lot of pride in quick, reliable communication and love to send photo updates 🙏🏻

I live with one flatmate in a 2 bedroom flat, so I have plenty of space for some doggy company :) My street is quiet, with a fenced in park next door, great for quick potty breaks and longer breaks playing fetch etc.

A typical day
I love to explore London with a doggy companion! I have a great, fenced in park next to my house for playing fetch and potty breaks. I also love to take dogs to the larger parks in London for longer walks or runs. At the end of the day, I love a cuddle and time on the sofa with an animal companion. I'm happy to care for higher or lower energy dogs with varying levels of activity needed.

I work from home 4-5 days a week and live with one flatmate (no pets at the moment, only because I'm only living in London about 1 more year before moving back to the USA!). I have flexible working hours, so am quite available to take dogs out for potty breaks, walks, etc. On weekends, I love to take dogs I'm caring for to the larger London parks for long walks/runs! I have friends around the flat occasionally, no more than 2-3 at a time.
