Pet care experience
I was a volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind for many years. I have successfully raised and trained 3 guide dogs and have raised over 100 puppies from the age of a few days to 6 weeks for this organization. I successfully bred my Labrador, Amber and have a an excellent reputation among the families and friends of those families who have one of our dogs. I recently took a course and am now certified in Pet CPR. My husband is a longtime volunteer with OLFD and holds a high ranking position within the department and our daughter is studying to be a Special Education teacher. We have a clean, dog friendly home and a fenced yard. We are kind, trusting, loving, honest people and take pride in treating your pet with great care and unconditional love. I look forward to making more doggy friendships and hope you will consider me for your current and future needs. I am happy to supply references!
Reviews
All went well with Shannon, very friendly and great communication. We'll come back!!
Shannon was very considerate with our last minute request, which was appreciated. She did the meet and greet thoughtfully with her current pups, to give everyone the best chance of harmony. Bill came back from his stay with a wagging tail and was exhausted, both of which are a good sign. I wouldn't hesitate to use Shannon again!
Finn’s stay with Shannon was great. She took good care of him while we were traveling and we won’t hesitate to use her again.
Stu, our 1 1/2 year old adorable chocolate lab had a wonderful 2nd time experience with Shannon! He spent 6 nights with her and she send great feedback and pictures to us daily! She is super organized and Stu couldn’t wait to join the fun for his second stay! He will definitely will be going back again and again! I would highly recommend Shannon to anyone I know ! We are crazy about our pup and set the bar very high!!

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is completely fenced in with plenty of room to run. I have crates and extra space to separate the pups if needed. Whatever your routine is with your dog, will be our routine. If they are allowed on the couch, then they will be on the couch. If they are not allowed on the furniture, we will not let them on it.

Information Shannon C. would like to know about your pet
I like to ask my clients to write down the needs of their pup. With so many dogs coming and going it can be difficult to keep all the information straight. A question I get asked frequently is "do I board more than one dog at a time"? I do and that is important for new clients to know. I typically won't board a new dog with any others, but once I get to know a pup and feel comfortable, chances are they will be boarded with other furry friends.
A typical day
Fetch is one of our favorite things to do. However, if a daily walk is what your pup needs, that is what they will get. I also like to send lots of photos and videos of your furry little loved ones having what I call a doggy vacation!

Availability
I do work full time Monday - Friday so my doggy daycare services are limited to the weekends. When I board dogs, I typically get them out in the morning to play for an hour or so and then again at lunchtime. This works for most dogs as they are used to working family members.
