Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of pets of all kinds since I was a little girl, from the family pets of cats, dogs, birds and hamsters. To pets of all ages and kinds, of friends and neighbors. Walking, bathing them, helping to nurse them back to good health after surgery’s to even just taking time to sit and snuggle and talk with them when owners are busy with work or vacation.

So happy we were able to find Shannon to watch Penny during our last minute holiday plans. I appreciate the updates throughout the visit. We now have another loving family for Penny to visit when we travel.
Shannon was wonderful with our older dogs! She was so flexible with our schedule and so sweet with our dogs! Highly recommended!
Shannon really saved us this past Thanksgiving weekend! Our regular dog sitter was not available and Shannon gave our little guy a nice cozy place to stay while we were out of town! I would recommend her highly!

I have a big fenced in yard. And a nice large downstairs space with hardwood floors. My neighbor is perfect for taking walks, very low traffic. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, which means more time for yours. I do have 2 very responsible and loving nine year old children that can’t wait to help be hands-on with caring for your pets as we don’t have any of our own ( as of now).

Let me know if your pet has any special needs I should Account for, if they have any visible fears to anything in particular ( like storms). How are they with kids? My children are old enough to understand when we have a pet in our care that isn’t as comfortable with kids and will give the space needed for your pet to be happy.
A typical day
I have a huge fenced in back yard for letting your dogs run free, while we play catch with frisbees and balls, or just simply run and have fun. My neighborhood has some great trails for hiking and all the smells pups like to stop for. My twin 9 year olds have the biggest hearts and are true animal lovers like me, they give the very best gentle snuggles. It makes my heart so happy to see the joy between my kids and your fur babies. There is never a lack of love in our home.

Availability
I’m currently working for the Elementary school. I have a break at lunch to come and care for pets needs during the day that might have a sleep over or I’m free at 5pm Monday- Friday to come and care for pets. I’m off on weekends and have very long holiday breaks due to working for the school as well as summers off. I have lots of extra time to make sure your family pet never feels lonely while in my care.
