Hello! Being a dog owner and frequent user of Rover, I understand how stressful trying to find someone who will love your fur baby as much as you do. I have grown up with dogs, and raised a few of my own. I can promise your pup lots of love, playtime, and lots of attention. I have a fenced yard, doggy door, and a 7 year old dog who loves every dog they meet :) expect lots of pictures and updates on how your pup is doing! I recently lost my sweet boy to cancer and the house just doesn’t feel the same without him so I would love to care for your dog and have them give my other dog company! We allow all pets on the furniture, offer lots of play time, and really want them to feel at home with us for the whole time they stay! I am available to drop by and check on your pets and give them some love or they can stay in my home and play with me and my dog! My husband is also a fitness nut lol and takes 45 minute walks every day with our pup - your dog can join for the full walk every day or a partial if they are a bit more senior or lazy 😋 I promise to love your pets as much as I love my own :) I am also a MAJOR cat lover and would love to host your cat or drop by to give some love and care! Finally, I have experience taking care of dogs requiring medicine and injections so definitely am able to care for your pet if they need special accommodations/care!

This is the first time being a Rover for me. So I was very nervous about finding the right sitter for my beloved dog, Puffy. Nonetheless, I am so glad that I made the decision to entrust Puffy to Shannon, who is a kind, gentle, and considerate individual. Shannon provided me with daily updates in the forms of photos and videos to ensure constant communication between Puffy and myself. She also walked Puffy along with her dog Lily and played with them whenever is possible. I am so glad that Puffy made some new friends (a dog and a cat!) during the stay. I will for sure come back and entrust Puffy to Shannon whenever I need to be out of town again. Thank you so much, Shannon!

I have a fenced yard fully secure and a doggy door if your dog is trained. We allow our dog to free roam, but I am experienced with crating pups as well. We have a cat who LOVES dogs, but we do not allow him to be unsupervised with any dogs so will always section off 2 bedrooms in our house for him and other cats we are watching. When we are sitting we really prioritize making sure they feel at home and safe!

A typical day
We walk our dog every single day 2-3 miles. Your dog can join for the full or partial walk each day depending on exercise needs! We also LOVE to play with dogs whether it be fetch, hide and go seek (yes our dog plays a full on game lol), or tug of war!

Availability
I work full time from around 5/6am to 1/2pm, and am home all weekday evenings and weekends I am sitting! My husband works hybrid from home, he will typically be out of the house 9am-3pm. With both of our schedules combined we are away from the house and pets 4 hours on weekdays. Weekends we are sitting we dont really have a life haha so we do not leave the house -except maybe a hike if your dog loves the outdoors!
