Pet care experience
I grew up in Western New York in a house that was always full of different pets. Throughout the years I've helped my family care for many animals, including dogs, cats, tropical fish, reptiles, and even chickens! More recently, I have helped my sister care for her 2yr old husky-mix while visiting home during school breaks since she was a puppy. I have now been active on Rover for almost two years and have been lucky to meet and spend time with many wonderful pets spanning a large range of ages, breeds, and personality types! I believe my experience has made it easy for me to adapt to best fit your pet's needs.

Shannon is fantastic! She took great care of our dog Alvin. He suffers anxiety and she handled him well and kept us updated so we didn’t have to worry. she left his water full and the apartment in pristine condition. Certainly recommend!
Shannon stayed at our home for the weekend with our two dogs, Otto and Penny. She asked good questions about the dogs' habits, routines, etc., in addition to be being punctual. She sent pictures throughout the weekend, and kept our house neat and tidy. We definitely would recommend Shannon!
Shannon was great with our dog Suzie! She communicated with us the entire time she watched our dog and even sent a photo. Suzie loved her!
Shannon always takes great care of our pups and is attentive to special needs/requests. Highly recommend!

Your pet's health and safety will always be my number-one priority while they are in my care. Please write out detailed care instructions and I will make sure they are followed to a T! I am willing to go above and beyond to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable! I am now offering boarding/daycare services in addition to in-house sittings. My boyfriend and I live in a 1st floor, 1 bedroom center square apartment. The space is average sized with a long, narrow layout, perfect for playing fetch! We do not have a yard, but we live just two short blocks away from both Washington and West Capitol Park and would be happy to walk your dog(s) there regularly. I live with my boyfriend, and we have no children or pets of our own. He, like myself, grew up with pets and absolutely adores all animals. Between the two of us, your pet would be the center of attention and receive star treatment during their stay! Based on the size and nature of our space, we are happy to host small cats and small dogs, as well as medium dogs with lower energy levels.

Your pet's time spent with me will be filled with all their favorite things, whether it be playing fetch, taking walks, or just hanging out! I can easily adjust my activities and interactions to best accommodate your pet's specific needs.

Availability
I just recently finished grad school and moved to Albany, I am currently working part-time. I will have a wide range of availability through the end of April into May! On the days that are blocked off on my calendar, I am usually working short mid-day hours. I may still be able to care for your pet in the mornings or evenings if needed.
