An active vacation for your pup!
Pet care experience
Doggos love to come to stay and play at our house! We have a fenced in backyard that has plenty of room for dogs to run around in, and we live right across from a large park that we visit on the daily. Our five year old German Shorthaired Pointer is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs! He does better with medium-large sized dogs that can match his high energy level. We go for multiple walks per day in the park and along the river. We've dog-sitted for friends for years and love to have extra paws in the house. We have a two year old son who loves animals and is as gentle as a two year old can be.

Shannon has always been a reliable dog owner and sitter. Whenever I need to go out of town at the last minute, I rest easy knowing Shannon will take so much care of my energetic golden retriever. Her own dog is also extremely sociable with other dogs, so it really works out so great for me to pick up my golden and he is wiped out from all the fun play! I recommend Shannon to any dog owner seeking a sitter. Trust me, she's very trusty!

It would be helpful to know what types of situations make your dog nervous or anxious, how they behave towards other dogs/humans when out for walks, how they act around small children, and any other quirks they might have. We love high energy breeds, such as fellow German Shorthairs, Vizlas, Labs, Retrievers, etc., but we'll care for almost any breed!
A typical day
We go for for multiple walks a day, and have many different locations we like to visit. There are paths and trails along the river, mountain biking/walking trails, and a beautiful neighborhood to explore. We play a lot of fetch and chase around the house and yard.

I currently work part-time, and part of that time is from home, so I have some extra capacity to give attention to your pup! We go for two walks a day, so your pup will get plenty of exercise, along with play time with our GSP.
