First off, I need to say that I love ALL furry friends. Dogs, cats, rodents, etc. Growing up, my family could never turn away stray pets. Currently, my parents have 2 dogs and 8 cats in their home! Since the age of two, I have grown up with countless cats and dogs, a ferret, and guinea pigs. I have had many special bonds through the years but my best friend of 19 years (a special kitty name Samson Oliver) passed away 2 years ago and I still miss him dearly. He lived for many years with kidney failure and diabetes. Daily diligence on my part taking care of his medical needs was the #1 priority in my life (see special skills below).
