Pet care experience
Experienced pet sitter, I have cared for my own cocker spaniel, Riley, as a co-parent for the past 9 years. He lives at my parents house as he has separation anxiety & someone is always home with him. I recently started working from home so I now have the pleasure of pet sitting whenever needed. I love taking care of friends pets so much I’ve decided I want to help more people with fur babies in the world.

Shannen is amazing. Our cat needed constant care after surgery and we were nervous finding a sitter for a while work day. Shannen came to the rescue, she kept him calm but entertained and sent us photo updates throughout the day. Our cat has a new friend and we were able to go back to work confident he was in good hands.
I hate boarding my dogs! But, I rarely have to thanks to Shannen!! She is a lover of animals, and they love her! She is not only a wonderful caretaker of my pets, but she is a wonderful house guest! When you return home, everything is cleaned and in its place. She loves walks, snuggles and will send lots of photos while you’re away!

I treat all dogs like my own family, giving my full love & attention, and staying concurrent with the normal eating and walking schedule. Always allowing for time to run either during the walk or at the dog park down the road from me. Whatever is best for you dog I will make sure they are taken care of.

Please let me know your pets usual feeding time so I can adhere to their schedule. If there are any medications or things I need to know about or behaviors I should know would be great to know in advance!
A typical day
Go for a walk/jog down, my favorite places to go are Fort Trumbull in NL and the Waterford dog park. We’ll have play time with balls and toys inside & outside. I will make sure they have enough water throughout the day & feed them during their usual time & give any necessary medication.

Availability
I recently began working from home allowing me to be able to pet sit for however long needed. Whether it’s a quick 10/15 min walk a few times a day or multiple days, feeding, walking & playing I am ready to help! My daily schedule is 8 am - 5pm with an hour lunch break and two 15min breaks throughout the day. I currently don’t have a ton of meetings so I am able to be very flexible with my time.
