If you want someone that’s experienced with animals, I’m your gal! The passion, heart, and understanding I have when it comes to caring for animals is unconditional. Currently a first-year veterinary medicine student at Virginia Tech. Previously worked as a veterinary technician, and I have also worked as a kennel assistant, receptionist, and veterinary assistant. I have been working at Towson Veterinary Hospital since high school (4 years as of 2021). I graduated from the University of Maryland in May 2022 with a BS in animal science on the pre-veterinary track, and I was accepted into and will be attending veterinary school at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2022. I’m animal CPR and First Aid certified, a certified animal handler through the IACUC, Fear Free certified, a research assistant for the Canine Language Perception Lab at the University of Maryland (requires me to recognize and quickly react to signs of stress and other dog behaviors), have had pets of my own my whole life, and have been pet-sitting for years. I have also trained three service dogs for the Guide Dog Foundation and America’s VetDogs (about 1 year for each dog) starting from the age of 8 weeks old, so I’m well-equipped to handle young puppies. I am also an active puppy-sitter and Area Coordinator for the organization, which is indicative of my training experience. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with exotics, livestock, and research animals. I have all of the experience and qualifications necessary to make sure your fur baby is in the best hands. Please feel free to reach out to me if you’re interested in my services! All of my pet sitting services thus far have been booked outside of the app (even requests that were initially made inside of the app), so I have no reviews, but I am happy to connect you with any of my previous clients for feedback if you are interested.
