Pet care experience
I have 6 years of personal experience with my own pup and a couple of neighbors have trusted me to care for their pups while out of town. I have beginner and some intermediate dog training skills, after attending several months of classes with my own pup. What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to cater to individual needs (specific feeding schedules, preferences with walking, clothing, medicating, and use of different leashes for your pet.) I am a registered nurse and I pride myself in taking the best care of my patients and I treat pets the same! Let's be honest dogs > humans and we don't deserve their loyalty and love, but I like to treat them as they do deserve! Long walks are an added benefit of mine, but if your pup doesn't like long walks, I'm sure they wouldn't mind some attention and play time instead!

Shannel did an exceptional job. She went above and beyond for my Leo. He seemed to really take to her, which is a plus. She has patience and seems to be really good with him. I appreciate the fact she respected my space, and took her shoes off upon entering my place. I will definitely be using Shannel again, and you should to if you are looking for a great dog walker.
Honestly, you can tell Shannel loves dogs, she shows a lot of love and patience when watching our family dog. Not only is she reliable in providing quality walks, she at times will also spend extra play time with our pup and I love that! I would trust her any day to watch over our fur baby and I will be relying on her again...

I treat clients' pets and homes as my own. I pride myself on cleaning up behind my fur baby and I would do that same with yours and your home! The anxiety of having to leave your fur baby behind for extended periods of time can be over bearing... I understand that as I have the same fears and worries. My goal is that you don't experience those fears, as I would give the same TLC (Tender Love & Care) to your pup as I would to mine and any other! Whether that be more play time, pictures of your pup sent to you for reassurance, good communication, proper medication and/or feeding times, and exercise.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavior that I can tend to, while you are gone: (Examples: seizures, an active infection, or even house training, etc).
A typical day
On full day stays, I can provide 3 walks / day, check out a local dog park or play games in the home if preferred. Of course the standard TLC will definitely be provided! Upon request, I can also groom your pet if they have been desensitized.

Availability
The great thing about being a nurse is my open schedule! I work 2-3 days a week 12-14 hour shifts and thankfully I have more days of the week off than the average full-time worker! I am used to being on my feet and always moving, which helps if you have an active dog.
