Pet care experience
I have had a variety of pets from a young age, so have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, small mammals, and birds - I currently care for my own 13 year old Collie Cross Jake along with my 9 year old cat Charlie. I have experience dog and cat sitting for friends and have always thoroughly enjoyed helping them enjoy their time away from their animals as they are sure they are being well looked after - and have been happy to be asked as I have love getting to know their pets! I'm looking to build on this experience by helping others who need a responsible and reliable friend and carer for their pets - I understand that every animal is an individual and will adapt to meet their personality and care needs, whilst making sure that they are always happy and safe! I have also recently completed a doggie first aid course so you can rest assured that your pooch is in very safe hands!

We have a garden which backs directly onto a park for home visits, so there is plenty of safe space to play! I aim to make any pet as comfortable as possible - our home is their home! Me, my partner Ben, my collie Jake and cat Charlie will provide constant company. I have experience administering medication, as my own dog takes this daily, and staying in and looking after pets on their home turf if this is what you and they prefer!

It would be great to have a quick meeting with you and your dog to get to know you both a little better; please do let me know how much exercise they require; if they would prefer to be off-lead or are happy just pottering around! If they have any quirks, health concerns, or behaviours that may require special attention please also let me know! If requesting to board with us, any rules that you have at home will be respected here, but please do keep in mind that we have our own animals, Jake and Charlie, with us here full time!
A typical day
We have plenty of toys at home, or your dog can bring their own! Me and Ben both love playing and keeping animals entertained whilst at home, and will make sure that your dogs walking preferences are accommodated; if they just want a slow sniff around the local neighbourhood this is fine or if they or more inclined to running around after their ball there are plenty of parks nearby we can visit! If picking up from your place for walks, I will make sure that they are happy and safe when dropped off and have lots to dream about whilst waiting for you to get home!

Availability
I am currently working part time so have plenty of time to to look after any animals that need my company! If for any reason I wasn't to be around, then my partner Ben would be, so your animal should never be alone for long. We spend the majority of our time exploring around Devon and Cornwall so know lots of great places a bit further a field for longer walks or home stays!
