Pet care experience
I have been known as the caretaker for pets, kids and homes in my community since I was 13! I care and will go to extra lengths to provide your loved ones the proper care they deserve. For this I am usually the one people call when they need their animal looked after. I am empathic and I care that your animals are given good treatment! I love walking and and I like to keep an active lifestyle so high energy pets are a-okay with me! I also like to chill and have a calming energy that makes animals feel safe! Looking forward to meeting your furry friends!

Shannah is awesome with dogs(and all animals)! Shannah and I are part of a Hiking club and I have a 2 year old golden, Hoozie, I bring along. Shannah regularly takes over the reigns for Hoozie as she has LOTS of energy as a puppy. I have no hesitation passing Hoozie off to Shannah as she is responsible and most importantly super loving! We highly recommend Shannah if you are looking for the perfect person to show your pup the same kinda care and love you do. (also great with cats)
Shannah V. took care of our dog for a week, including feeding, walking and playing with him, and she was wonderful! Our dog really loved her right away, which made it so much easier for us because our dog is not used to being with anyone but his owners. But he was very, very happy with her. She is a genuine animal lover and is truly wonderful with dogs. We were so very happy that Shannah was able to dog-sit our dog, who is used to being a bit spoiled - and she was just lovely with him! She has a very gentle nature which our dog gravitated to - it was a very positive experience for our dog - and a great relief to us that our dog was in her care!
Ever since Shan was a little girl she’s loved and cared for animals. She’s extremely conscientious about their food, water, exercise, play, quality attention and medical care. Everyone knew she was a sort of “animal whisperer” so on two separate occasions people brought her abandoned kittens they’d found which she nursed back to health, raised and found loving homes for. I would absolutely trust her with any pet knowing she will take excellent care of them and love them as her own.

I have a fenced yard and a very walk friendly neighborhood with big sidewalks and low speed limits. I live right by a lovely boardwalk along Jersey cities Hudson River. My home is cozy and comfy and dog friendly.

A typical day
Im happy to do any activities that your dog enjoys! Like long walks, fetch, meet and greets with other dogs, and training with treats. I can even go for brisk jogs with your dog if he needs a bit of running. I like to go along the water and on board walks for walks and runs especially.
