I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19! I've been a dog owner since I was 13, and have done everything in my ability to improve the care of my pets every step of the way. I have experience giving oral medication to dogs on a regular schedule, and am open to learning about any special needs your own dogs might have before I care for them. In addition to dog care, I am willing to water plants and care for your house according to your instructions. I am almost always available unless I have another client scheduled. Over the years I have developed a fairly loyal client base among my family and friends, and am looking into expanding beyond them in part because of how much I love caring for animals. Shanna did a wonderful job taking care of our dog and cats. We appreciated the daily texts with photos. It was a relief knowing our animals would be well cared for in their own home. Our pets liked her instantly at the meet and greet.
We could not have asked for a better dog and house sitter! We were gone for one week and unfortunately we had issues with our pool. Shanna was there for the maintenance guys, she was there for deliveries. She sent us updates on the dogs and was just as sweet as could be. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!!

If a dog has any special needs - medications that need to be administered or routines that need to be followed - I would love to know in advance, and if possible schedule a day to walk through them with you. Other specific rules for your house are helpful as well - if they're allowed on the furniture, if they can have occasional "people food" treats, and so on. Typical routines and schedules are helpful to know as well.
A typical day
For lower energy dogs, they can expect a day spent just chilling on the couch in the company of a new friend. Potty breaks will be offered whenever they need them, and food and treats will be given according to client’s instructions.

Housesitting is my full time job. Your pets will have my full attention for any stays you book with me. Barring any short errands, I will be in your home 24/7.
