Pet care experience
We love taking care of all types of dogs! We both grew up with dogs and adopted our dog, a Newfoundland-Poodle mix, 2 years ago. I (Shanna) began pet sitting for family and friends beginning at the age of 12 and have continued ever since, which makes it 15 years now! My boyfriend, Ben, has been pet sitting with me for the past 2-3 years. As huge dog lovers, we have lots of cuddles, toys, and play sessions for your pup to enjoy :)

Shanna and Ben cared for my two Boston Terriers while I was away on a family vacation. My older dog gets anxiety when away from home, so they were able to provide excellent care for both dogs while staying in my home and keeping my dogs in their “comfort zone”. They were very communicative, providing daily photos and updates. Knowing the dogs were in good hands allowed me to relax and enjoy family time while away. We live in a townhome with a small unfenced backyard, which is why we take the dogs for at least three short walks/potty breaks and one longer walk each day. In addition, when we sit outside for lunch or dinner, we have a tether with multiple size harnesses in our yard for the dogs to get some more fresh air or play in the back with us. (We never leave any dog outside unattended.) We also have a sweet, gentle, and goofy 78lb 2 year old Newdle (Newfoundland-Poodle mix) named Leo. He absolutely loves other dogs and has had experience with many dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.

We require a meet and greet with both us and our dog in advance of booking for any new clients. This is to ensure that us and our dog are a good fit for yours, so we can give your dog the best care possible for a safe, fun, and stress-free stay. Let us know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to accommodate for. We are open to all breeds, but prefer dogs who are dog friendly since we have another pup at home.
A typical day
We work from home 5 days a week and take out the dogs for at least three 15 mins walks and one 30-45 min walk a day - once in the morning (6am-7am), once in the afternoon (12pm-1pm), once after work (4pm-5pm), and once before bed (9pm-10pm). As huge dog lovers, there are tons of toys, cuddles, and playtime to also be found for your pup to enjoy! We also have a two year old dog of our own who loves to cuddle, run, and play with other furry friends :)

Availability
We both work from home, so we are able to provide care and attention to your dog all day! We take out the dogs for at least three 15 mins walks a day and one 30-45 min walk a day (more if needed): - 15 min morning walk (6:30am-7am) - 15 min afternoon walk (12pm-1pm) - 30-45 min after work walk (4pm-5pm) - 15 min walk before bed (9pm-10pm) For dogs that like a little more adventure, we like to take them on hikes or to the dog park on the weekends, depending on your preference. In addition, our home is packed full of toys, brain games, playtimes (including plenty of fun with our goofy 2 year old dog Leo), and cuddles for whatever your pup enjoys!
