They call me the dog whisperer 🤫 I haven’t met a dog that didn’t like me yet! My passion started out young. I started helping out at animal shelters in Pennsylvania around age 12. I eventually graduated high school and got my certification as a veterinary assistant. Since then, I have trained and worked at animal shelters, veterinary hospitals and dog daycares/walking companies. I am adept in dog training and behavior, as well as administering medications. I am also pet CPR certified, so you can literally trust me with your dog’s life! 😇 I can do walks, stay home and have cuddle time, play and tire them out or just stay the night. I do it all, and I really love what I do. I can’t wait to meet your pet!

Shanila really worked with us on picking and dropping rielei off. She kept us updated and helped soothed our worries considering this was the first ever time we’d done this. We know that rielei had an amazing time with her and made a knee friend and anytime we need a board or check in we’ll be coming back☺️
Ms. Shanila dog sat my 2 dogs for 2 years. I have a 4 year old Labrador retriever and 6 year old miniature poodle. She was phenomenal with my babies and the only reason she does not dog sit for me now is because I moved to Idaho in 2018. She was great and I genuinely appreciated the love and care she gave my dogs. I do not trust just anyone caring after my babies. I don’t have children so my dogs are my children, and I put my trust in her to care for them and she did exactly that. I was sad to see her go, but she still keeps in contact with me and checks in on my dogs. Such a sweetie
Hi. My name is Shaquira and Shanila helped me take care of my puppy after he was diagnosed with worms. She noticed my dog was acting lethargic and had an enlarged belly when she came to visit around the 9 week mark for my puppy. She asked about his behavior and I did tell her that he was acting very different within a week and that he had diarrhea with no significant changes to his diet. She suggested we go to the vet ASAP and I did, where a stool sample was taken and my dog was diagnosed with roundworms. I thank Shanila so much to this day because me, thinking I just had an abnormally sleepy puppy with a stomach bug could’ve turned into a much worse situation. She’s the reason I have a happy, healthy dog today!
I lost my dog of 14 years, Dorothy, last year. She died of natural causes. I had her most of my life and was deeply affected by her death. I looked high and low for that companionship but I just missed MY dog more than anything. Shanila helped me through this hard time and suggested I just visit a shelter familiar to her, to cheer me up. I was reluctant at first, but by my forth visit I had found a dog I couldn’t stray away from. We had an instant connection and I just knew I wanted to take her with me. Well, there was a process to do so and she happened to be blind so I had to go through special screenings to make sure I was able to care for a dog with her disability. But I did what was needed to bring her home, and after 3 long weeks I was finally able to bring her home! I named her Bandit. I never thought I’d be able to fill the void in my heart from Dorothy, but Shanila made that possible by opening my eyes and bringing me to a shelter for love where I eventually found my new fur baby. She is a beautiful soul in and out and she really does have a passion for dogs!
