My wife and I recently adopted Ruffles and can't imagine life without her. Ruffles was rescued from a home with 70 other dogs, and when we adopted her, she was extremely timid, not potty trained, and wouldn't even leave the house. Today, she's excited for walks and trips to the dog park, lets us know when she needs to use the bathroom, and is more open to meeting new dogs and people. We also had a boxer named Roxy, who is no longer with us, but we took good care of her for nearly 10 years, and we've done a lot of pet sitting for our friends, and aside from the minor bathroom accidents, haven't had any issues. We have a decently sized backyard where we let Ruffles out regularly to do her "business". It's big enough for her and any additional friends she has over. Both my wife and I are fortunate enough to work from home, so we're able to be there for the pets throughout the day. We are able to let the dogs out in our backyard several times a day, where they can use the bathroom and play for a little bit. In the afternoons around 5-6pm, we go on long walks but can adjust the length depending on the dog. We feed Ruffles twice a day, once at 9 AM and again at 6 PM, and give her small treats throughout the day. We're also flexible and can accommodate the eating schedules of other dogs. We have a fenced yard with grass where Ruffles and her friends can play. We also have a large play pen with lots of toys inside the house and give plenty of love and attention to Ruffles and her friends.
