Pet care experience
For two years, I’ve provided companionship and support for a variety of animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits, and hamsters. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to not only take care of their pets but their home as well, especially if one of my clients were traveling for longer periods of time. Most of my work would require me to take care of pets with special needs, taking them for walks, taking pets to vet appointments and daycare visits, handling any necessary tasks and running important errands, and providing light house maintenance. This has helped me develop an attentiveness to individual needs, be adaptable to diverse environments, and have the patience and listening skills to create a nurturing and fulfilling experience.

Shaniece is AMAZING. She took incredible care of my two large dogs and was a fantastic house sitter. She walked the dogs and played with them and sent the best photos that put me at ease and made me smile every day. She even had movie night with the pups and watched Life of Pets with them! My dog Griffin is quite leash reactive but Shaniece handled him so well. It made my time away so much better knowing the dogs were having the time of their lives with Shaniece. She is very detail-oriented and followed all directions around the two dogs' specific mealtime requirements. Just the best!!
Shaniece was the best cat sitter I could have ever hoped for. She took great care of my cat (and home) and kept me updated daily through texts, photos, and videos. I am a worrier by nature, but I knew my cat was in great hands, so I was able to relax during my vacation. She is the only person I would hire in the future, and I 100% recommend her!
Shaneice was the best sitter I’ve ever had for Teddy!! She was so loving, kind, neat, and sent me pics and videos every day. I never worried for a second that she was treating him the way I would! 10/10 would use her again!
Shaniece did an amazing job watching my cat Ghost over the holidays. She gave him lots of attention, with play time and cuddle time, and gave detailed updates. I could also tell she is genuinely enthusiastic about animals and treats every pet as she would her own. I would recommend her to anyone!

I love coming up with inventive ways that can help them release pent-up energy and promote a sense of well-being, which can result in better behavior overall. I also love making sure these animals get some socialization outdoors, even if it’s exploring a new block or park in the neighborhood!

I currently work for myself behind the scenes as a freelance visual designer, so my availability is super flexible to accommodate you and your pets needs! I understand that trying to get everything together in your life can be very time sensitive and overwhelming. I would love to provide a helping hand that can give you ease, consistency, and support! I’m also the eldest of five siblings who I’ve helped raise, and a part-time caregiver for one of my grandparents, and a brother who has cognitive disabilities along with autism. I treat every animal as if they were my very own. I will make sure they are given the proper love and attention they deserve!
