In search of new animal friends
Pet care experience
I love animals and I am looking forward to meeting lots of new animal friends this year. I’ve had a dog most of my life. I currently have a calm senior chihuahua. My heart is with senior dogs, but I love all types of dogs and to play with them. I watch my uncle’s dog ,a young poodle, often when he’s out of town and host numerous friends pups when they’re on short vacations or stop in to feed and check up on them. I love running and being outdoors and spend a good amount of my day being active outside. I’m looking forward to learning to care for different types of pets.

Shania did a wonderful job. My finicky cat was happy when I returned after 1 week.
We booked Shania to house sit for more than a week and take care of our two dogs and two cats. She was great, and our babies loved all the snuggles and attention she gave them! She provided regular updates and was easy to communicate with, which gave us peace of mind while traveling. One of our cats requires special feeding, and one of our dogs is geriatric, needs medication, and has a special food mix. Shania was well-versed in taking care of their needs and we will definitely be booking her again for our next trip!
Shania is a great weekend sitter for my 4 year old doodle. She takes Coco to the park and will make sure she get lots of cuddles through the day. Definitely would recommend.

My dog is pretty free range. I let her out in the yard and walk her with a leash if we leave home. I can pretty much adjust with any things needed for your dog.

A typical day
Libby and I like to go to any park nearby. Avondale is my favorite since there’s a few spots without many other dogs and just wander mostly for about an hour or two every other day of the week. Other than that I let her out every 3 hours.

I have my own chihuahua so I care for her every day. She’s also a senior dog with medication now so I’m really having to be intentional with her schedule.
