Pet care experience
I am currently a pre-vet student who has a passion for caring for animals! I’ve spent the past two years working in dog care and it has fulfilled a passion of mine. From working with aggressive or sweet, old or young, low energy or high energy, I’ve worked with a good variety. From administers meds, grooming, excercising and stimulation, I have done everything you could possibly need from a petsitter!

Shanel is a complete natural with animals. She has chosen veterinary medicine as her future career and I can definitely see why! She is absolutely caring and nurturing and the animals that are around her can feel it!! We’ve had large breeds (Saint Bernard) to medium breeds (French bulldogs) and the smallest breeds (yorkie) and they all love her! She’s patient and has no problem getting on the ground and getting dirty while throwing the ball! She doesn’t just show up but actually interacts with your dog!! I recommend her without any reservation!
Shanel is a family friend who has been watching our 3 dogs for the past 4 years. She is very responsible and always treats our dogs like her own. She is an absolute dog lover, and has been a real blessing for our family since we take many vacations. I recommend highly.

I would love to get to know your dog to the fullest capability. I ask you please let me know their likes, dislikes, allergies, if they are on any meds, their daily routine and feeding instructions. It is important for me to be as knowledgeable as possible, especially when I am taking care of someone’s fur baby!
A typical day
I love to stimulate my dogs by playing fetch and going on a walk with them of course, but also cuddle time! Dogs need that range of stimulation, no matter the age, size or demeanor. I also love to do activities with my dogs. Every weekend we have to pick a little activity to do together. This last weekend we made paw print ornaments out of clay.
