My father was a professional dog trainer & boarder, so I grew up interacting with a diverse range of dogs as his "little assistant." I learned quickly not to generalize breeds. Instead, I treat every dog as an individual with a unique personality requiring a different level of patience & care.

What's a good sign your dog loves someone? When you pull up to their house, your dog starts wagging their tail and wants to jump out of the car! Yep, my Simba did that on his second time boarding with Shanece. His reaction to her and her dogs has given me the confidence to go on extended vacations and not worry. Plus, the pictures Shanece sends are adorable and makes my heart smile! Thank you Shanece for giving me the gift of a safe, fun, loving place for Simba.
Absolutely amazing! We will 100% be booking with Shanece again. We were so nervous about leaving our dog with anyone, but after doing a meet and greet with Shanece I felt at ease. Communication was excellent and she took such great care of Darwin. Pictures were sent daily and he was spoiled with lick mats, playing catch, walks, and dog toys. Her 2 dogs are friendly and he loved playing with them. Finding a quality dog sitter was holding us back from traveling, but not anymore!!! So happy we found her!

For safety purposes & to give adequate attention to each dog, I only ever care for up to four dogs at a time (including my two boys). Your dog will enjoy daily walks (at their pace!) with lots of time for sniffing & exploring. My house also has a large fenced-in yard.

Please let me know if your dog is on any medications or has special needs or quirks that I should be aware of. Their safety & comfort is my main concern! ****FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PETS**** I require proof of the following current vaccinations: — Bordetella (kennel cough) required yearly — Rabies (either 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted) — Distemper or Distemper combo shots such as DHPP (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus) or DHLPP (the L stands for Leptospirosis) (either 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted) Your dog must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other pets. You must attest that your dog has not been ill in the past 30 days and that they are on current flea preventative medication. Your dog must be reasonably clean (unless you've arranged for me to bathe/groom) & in good health with the exception of stable, post-surgical dogs who are in need of 24-hour supervision/special needs care.
A typical day
There are two parks near my home that we walk to daily. Other days we go to a family member's home with 4 acres to run & sniff. If your dog needs to burn off extra energy, they can join me on my runs.

I am home all day with lots of time to make sure your fur baby is fed, exercised, stimulated, & loved on! I have experience with large dogs, resource guarding, aggressive tendencies, reactive & skittish dogs, injured & aging dogs, & am very efficient administering meds.
