Pet care experience

As a seasoned pet care provider, I understand the unique needs of dogs at different stages of life. With my experience in taking care of my own two dogs, one a playful puppy and the other a senior furry friend, I am equipped to provide tailored care that meets the individual needs of each dog. For puppies, I prioritize socialization and training to help them develop into well-behaved and happy dogs. I understand the importance of regular exercise and playtime to help puppies release their energy and stay healthy. Additionally, I am experienced in handling puppy accidents and adapting to their changing needs as they grow. For senior dogs, I provide gentle and compassionate care that prioritizes their comfort and well-being. I understand the unique health needs of senior dogs and ensure that they receive any necessary medications or treatments on schedule. I am also sensitive to their decreased mobility and adapt my care accordingly to ensure they remain comfortable and happy. nal needs of my furry friends. Every morning, I start the day with a walk to help my dogs get some exercise and fresh air. During the walk, we explore the outdoors, play fetch or tug-of-war, and engage in some training exercises to keep their minds active and alert. After the walk, I provide them with a healthy breakfast and make sure they have access to fresh water throughout the day. If I have to go to work, I will kennel them In the evening, I take them for another walk to help them burn off any excess energy and stimulate their senses. I also make sure to give them plenty of affection and attention, whether it's through belly rubs or playtime, to ensure they feel loved and appreciated. Before bed, I make sure they are comfortable and cozy, with a comfortable sleeping area and enough blankets to keep them warm. I also provide them with any necessary medications or supplements to ensure their health needs are met. I have focused experience house sitting for multiple dog owners monthly for a two year period. During these visits, I took care of all the dogs needs including walking, feeding, bathing, playing, etc. Overall, with my experience in pet care, I am confident in providing reliable and loving care for all dogs, regardless of their age or needs.

Shane has been around and handling dogs for several years. She knows how to work with dogs in many situations and understands their needs. She has a special place in her heart for dogs and would be an extra addition to the Rover family. I would highly recommend her services to care for anyone’s dog service needs.

Safety, trust & environment

As a dedicated pet caregiver, I prioritize the safety and well-being of all dogs under my care. To maintain their safety, I take a proactive approach by implementing several precautions and guidelines. First and foremost, I ensure that all dogs under my care are properly supervised and never left unattended. I also carefully monitor their interactions with other dogs or animals to prevent any potential conflicts or accidents. In addition, I am knowledgeable in basic canine first aid and prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise. I also make sure to provide adequate shade and hydration during hot weather and protect dogs from extreme temperatures during cold weather. I also prioritize the use of secure equipment, including leashes, collars, and harnesses, to prevent dogs from running off or getting lost. I keep a close eye on the condition of these items and replace them as needed to ensure they are always in good working condition. Finally, I make sure to stay up-to-date on local laws and regulations regarding pet safety, and follow them closely to maintain a safe and legal environment for all dogs under my care. I am happy to help your dog with any activities that they need during the day including bathing, eating, drinking, medication administration, etc. Overall, with my commitment to safety and my proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment, pet owners can trust that their furry friends are in good hands with me.
