Fun-loving animal lover available!

Pet care experience

I've grown up around dogs all my life and my family had several. I'm perfectly comfortable with breeds that are sometimes regarded as "scary" (pit bulls, Rottweilers), love taking them on walks, playing with them, or just being a comforting presence allowing them to relax while their owner is gone. They'll probably miss me when I leave!

Shane did great! I was gone for a few days for a family reunion so I had Shane watch my pit bull. A lot of people are nervous about pit bulls so it makes finding a sitter very difficult, but Shane displayed no hesitation and was totally comfortable around Bella. Everything was kept in order and instructions were followed. Next year I'm using him again!

I had Shane watch out golden retriever while my husband and I were out of town for a funeral. Our fur baby loved him and he did great! Took her on walks, played with her, made sure she tinkled before bedtime. Highly recommend!

Information Shane W. would like to know about your pet

Just let me know if there are any medications they need as well as what time. My dog has to be given prescription dog food due to kidney problems.

A typical day

This will really depend on the dog; a 1 year old Husky needs MUCH more activity than a 13 year old bloodhound. If there's a good size yard and Fido likes it we can play fetch or just generally run around.
