Pet care experience
I have had the honor of being pet mama to several wonderful dogs and cats over the years. I don't currently have fur-babies but definitely miss them in my life. Having a house and pet sitter gives me a lot of peace of mind when I'm traveling. I would love to do that for other people as well as get the opportunity for snuggles. I'm quiet and very tidy. I'm a total dork for both plants and fur babies. I like neighborhood walks and getting outside but I work hard and can also be a bit of a homebody and just lazy enough to be a cat's best friend. I know the best way to get cat vomit out of a carpet, sneak pills to puppies in cheese, and lightning fast block the door to keep sneakies from escaping. I have a natural affinity for animals and respect when they do and don't want to snuggle. I'm also very observant to their needs.

Shane was so supportive, empathetic, and an all around great dog sitter while I was gone for 2 weeks! She communicated every day and was patient with me and the complicated food regimen I had Dixie on due to an upset stomach. I came back and my apartment was cleaner than what I left it. Thank you so much again for everything and the chocolate and flowers were SO sweet. Can’t wait to have Shane back again!!
My cats were in the best moods they’ve ever been in when we have left and had a housesitter. In fact I believe one of our cats wishes that we were still away. Shane was an amazing house / pet sitter for our three cats. She also was super competent at taking care of the house. She even had to deal with an internet outage, which she helped to resolve and get back online. She left everything in the house neat and tidy, and I know that she even did some cleaning (which was not part of the expectations, this was above and beyond). Shane just “gets it” when it comes to competent and loving pet care and taking care of a house. She brought us great piece of mind while we were away, and she will be our “go to” housesitter.
Shane sent beautiful pictures of our fur babies while we were away, and our place was well taken care of when we came home. All of our pets seemed happy, and well taken care of! We would definitely use Shane again in the future!
