Pet care experience
I have multiple experiences with petcare and childcare. I first took care of my neighbors’ dogs for several months when I was 14 while they were traveling. I was a nanny for an eight year old girl and 13 year old boy for two years in high school. I have taken care of my mother’s labradoodle for a month while she traveled, and I frequently look after my friends’ dogs whenever they leave Boston! Growing up, we had two dogs that both passed when I was six, and for reasons outside of my control we never got another until I graduated high school. I absolutely love all animals, doggos specifically, and plan on getting one of my own once I settle down with a full-time job. I work in Finance, but my current internship has very minimal hours so I spend a lot of my days walking around Jamaica Pond!(11 miles a day to be exact:)). I live in a three bedroom apartment with a 26 year old roommate who works full-time. Our third roommate just moved to New York, meaning we have plenty of space to play!

Shane and I have been friends for a while now, and one of the qualities that I admire most about him is his dependability. It's hard to come across reliable and responsible friends, so when I do I treasure those relationships. Shane has proven these qualities to me on multiple occasions and I have been lucky enough to be . He follows through with all of his commitments whether they are with friends, work, extra curricular activities and more. He is extremely caring and just wants to see the best for his friends and family. Shane is reliable, passionate and caring - he is a man who anyone would be lucky to surround themselves with. There have been many times I have left Shane in charge of my dog and I never have a single worry doing so. He is reliable and responsible, and makes sure that jobs are done right (even the messy ones!). Shane would often go out of his way to see if I needed help with my dog, which goes a long way as an animal owner. I appreciate his willingness to help out, and the fact that I can enjoy my day knowing he is watching my dog is a real pleasure. Animals gravitate towards Shane due to his kind-hearted and caring nature, but that is not to say he is not responsible enough for the job. Anyone would be lucky to have Shane look after their furry friend. He's been a true help to me and my dog over the years and I know he can be the same to someone else out there!

Considering I walk around the pond so frequently and spend the rest of my weekdays in my apartment, looking after and walking a dog would fit seamlessly into my daily schedule.
