Hello! I'm Shana - an animal lover and program manager at Microsoft. I currently travel a lot for work, which means I don't have fur babies of my own. However, when I'm in town I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home pretty frequently, so I'd love to take care of yours instead! I'm able to take care of your pet in my apartment (or yours if you live close by) and will be able to take them out frequently for potty breaks and walks, or run if they'd like! In addition I own a car that I'm able to use to help transport your pet for errands or in case of an emergency. I’m right next to Cal Anderson, and just a few blocks from a dog park, if your dog would like to go socialize. I’m also a casual runner, so let me know if your dog would like to take a jog with me. If your dog’s more the Netxflix and chill-on-the-couch-with-me type - that’s great too. I grew up in Iowa with a few different family pets (miniature poodle, german shephard, cat, hamsters, fish, etc.) - I don't think a family is complete without a pet to love! In the past I've also dog sat in-home for an elderly dog who suffered from seizures and have experience administering oral medications. Finally, I am a trained foster provider for the Seattle Humane Society - able to take care of adult dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies while they're waiting for their forever home - but won't have any other animals in my apartment while I'm responsible for yours.
