Hello, our names are Shana and Mitchell. We are a couple looking to show some love to some doggies. We both grew up with dogs as well as have taken care of dogs for friends and family throughout our lives. Shana has taken care of 3 large dogs when her roommate would frequently go on trips for months at a time. Mitchell has taken care of his friends and family’s dogs in mountains, snow, and sunshine. We have been taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages together for the past year now, but are making it official on Rover. We are active and affectionate people and would love to share our love with your dog. Your dog will never feel neglected or bored with us.

Shana and Mitchell were such wonderful hosts for Pippin! They were accommodating and provided daily updates with photos. Pippin was comfortable within an hour of being dropped off. Will definitely rebook
Shana and her partner are obviously very loving dog people and it put us at so much ease when dropping Zuko off with them. They asked great questions about his care and any training we wanted reinforced while he stayed with them. We received photos while we were away and Zuko felt at home right away. Great communication throughout Zuko's stay and easy drop off/pick up coordination. Will definitely use them again!! Even if we're a little miffed Zuko had such a great time he looks a little sad missing them.
Shana and Mitchell took amazing care of Monti. They were so flexible, kind and supportive of my wacky work schedule. I got pictures of Monti and updates. They took the time to ask if he needed any special types of attention, walking style, preferred exercise and feeding times. Monti was immediately very comfortable in their cute house and, when we drove by later in the week, he was very excited to think he was seeing them again! I'm so grateful that I found them. I don't trust people easily with my dog and they exceeded my expectations and I will be booking them again and again.

We are currently living in a house and have a small front and back yard. Unfortunately our private backyard is not gated yet but the entire property is fenced off. Your dog is free to roam our entire home. Elysian park is less than a 5 minute walk away from our home as well

A typical day
We would love to take your dog out and about in our neighbor. Even take strolls to the park down the street! If we are not exploring the town, we have a backyard to play and relax. We are cuddlers so we would also love to just chill in the house while petting and snuggling your pup.

Availability
Shana is in healthcare so her schedule allows her to have full days available in a row mid week. Mitchell works from home and loves the companion especially on his midday works. Even without a furry friend, we are constantly going on hikes and walks to keep us active.
