Shalena pet sat for us for a week in our home for our dog Stella and cat Barney. We were flexible so she spent time between our home and her home. She took great care of Stella. Shalena kept Stella busy despite a week of weather that was too cold for people and pets to be outside. They still managed to go on walks and play outside. Shalena’s dog Kobe was a great playmate for Stella and he helped to wear her out. Shalena communicated with me on a daily basis and sent photos too. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets were in good hands. Barney ended up a little sick and Shalena had to carpet clean. She also went above and beyond her job description and shoveled our driveway twice while we were gone. Shalena is a real dog lover. Stella responded to her and listened to her immediately when we met. I can tell Stella misses seeing Shalena and Kobe now that we are home.

Shalena is a great dog owner and is passionate about the wellbeing and safety of the animals she cares for. She often dog-sat for me and would volunteer to bring my dog along when she took Kobe, her dog, out hiking. My experience working for a doggy-daycare in Lacrosse WI improved my knowledge of animal care. Shalena and I would often discuss the grooming methods and health of our dogs, along with the methods I witnessed at doggy-daycare. She is a responsible and loving pet owner as well as a great person.
