Experienced Dog and Cat Sitter!
Pet care experience
I’ve had and cared for dogs and cats my entire life. My neighbors call on me as they know how much I love their pets as my own. I have experience with training and had an Australian Labradoodle as well as cat. I am not quite ready to get a new dog but would love to spend time with some furry friends with my current flexibility!

Cannot say enough good things about Shakara! My dog was so loved and cared for and I got frequent updates and photos. She took her hiking and swimming and spent lots of quality time with her. Shakara has a very kind, calm energy and my dog just loved her.
Shakara is an amazing caregiver. We have requested her multiple times to care for our two boxer pups. She deeply cares about animals she takes care of, and delivers in a timely manner. We will be using her services on an ongoing basis.

I have a lot of experience with doodles, boxers, and huskies but love ALL furry babies. Puppies are welcome too, if hosting at my house I do prefer some entry level potty training.
A typical day
I love walking and hiking and would be happy to bring your dog on fun outdoor adventures! We also have a doggy park in our neighborhood(that is always empty). Great place to play fetch or get some zoomies out!

Availability
I work from home, my husband works a lot and my 16 year old is busy being a teenager. I’m very flexible and can do doggy walks, overnights stays and even host dogs at my house. I have no current pets.
