To say that caring for animals is my passion is an understatement! I've been a veterinary tech who has worked in the field for 7 years working at small and large animal clinics and am currently employed at a small animal veterinary clinic here in Honolulu. I am able to give medications such as injections, pills, liquids, and fluids. Also with that I am able to handle animals who need medical attention as well as senior animals who may require more attention. With my previous medical experience I am able to spot any problems with the pet immediately and respond accordingly. I also have background training with dealing with difficult felines and their behaviors. (Yes, I am definitely a cat person) That being said, I have animal sat for clients for the past 10 years watching dogs, cats, horses, livestock, exotics, reptiles, rabbits, and cavy. I grew up on a farm with livestock and horses. Going to college here in Hawaii, very fexible with dates and availability. I’m an animal science/pre-veterinary student at the University of Hawaii @ Manoa and am currently living in Honolulu. I live here full time and will be available over the holidays and school breaks.
